Members of the Student Senate enjoyed attending MinnState Chancellor Olson`s State of the System Annual Address! Thanks to Camp Ripley and the MN National Guard for hosting!
The Nonviolence Peace Force stopped by our Human Services class today to train students in our Crisis Intervention and Assessment course on "Upstander Interventions".
Thanks to local non-profit The Sowing Room for making this training possible. In addition, Dawn Espe, executive director of The Sowing Room, hosted a "Who`s at your table?" event afterwards for students and community leaders, which provided the space to reflect on and discuss how we can apply these concepts in our community.

Thanks to poets Layli Long Soldier and Sherwin Bitsui for reading their work today at our Verse Like Water series. After reading at CLC, we traveled to Onamia for a reading with high school students from Nay Ah Shing, Isle, Mora, Onamia, and Hinkley-Finlayson.
