Ames Construction hosted the Heavy Equipment Club today for an in-depth tour of the Red River Diversion Project in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Ames Construction is in the process of constructing its third gated structure.
During extreme flooding, the three structures will play a key role in regulating floodwaters through the Fargo-Moorhead area and releasing water into a 30-mile-long diversion channel.
